Today I wanted to share a new lifestyle website with you that I find inspiring.  Blake Lively, my celebrity girl crush, has started her own lifestyle website called PRESERVE.  It is very organic, full of whimsy, a bit hipster and modern yet down to earth.  Each handpicked artisan tells their story and the background to the story features are very interesting.  But most of all, the photos are GORGEOUS.  Seriously, besides the cute, cool and beautiful products, the photoshoots are absolutely inspiring!

Halloween Decorating

Halloween is just a week away, and I don't know about you, but the partying has already begun.  With trick or treating just around the corner and pumpkin carving parties & sugar cookie decorating parties,  we all want to get our house spooked and decorated to the max.  We've had our decorations up for weeks now- but my kids LOVE decorating for holidays.  And I am always looking around for ways to add to it.  Wall decals (like bird cages, mice, spiders, etc) and simple and no fuss and always add a good impact to the room.  Also, you can never have too much spider web!  And use those glass bell jars…objects placed under those are instantly provoking.

Berkshire Inspiration

Fall foliage is well underway here in the NorthEast, and I am devouring every minute of it.  This past weekend we had the opportunity to escape to the country and enjoy a good ol' farm party complete with s'mores and country line dancing at a friend's farm.  The property is located in the Berkshires of Massachusettes.  It was a gorgeous drive! These pictures don't even do it justice.

On the same note, Domaine just featured a home tour of a modern farm house in Litchfield, CT (also out in the country, near the Berkshires).  It is a beautiful and interesting space….a mixture of modern and vintage.  Definitely inspiring!
